Step 3 – How To Make Passive Income Streams With Affiliate Recurring Products

Dear reader,
Congratulations for entering this final step of the training series. So far you’ve learned what Financial Independence is, how to play the Cashflow game, how to use RPM method to get things done faster and easier. Now let’s see

How You Can Build Your Assets Promoting Recurring Affiliate Products

There are lots of ways to create passive income streams, online and offline. Our focus is to create online passive income stream that doesn’t require much investing.
AFFILIATE MARKETING – You promote someone’s product and you get a share of every sale. The good thing about affiliate marketing is that you don’t have to worry about customer support, product creation, merchant account, since everything has been done already.
RECURRING AFFILIATE PRODUCTS – Mostly are membership websites that you promote. For every sale that you make you get paid on monthly basis as long as the customer has an open account with the company.
Let’s take an example with ClickMagic affiliate program. This website offers 3 plans for people who want to buy, Starter Plan with $17/month, Standard Plan with $47/month and Pro Plan with $97/month.
If you read their affiliate program payments, they pay you 100% commissions upfront, then 35% for life every month as shown in the Fig. below:
Let’s say you sign up as an affiliate and started promoting your personal clickmagic affiliate link and 10 people started with the standard plan with $47/m. Let’s suppose your average spending per client client sign up is $3.
AFFILIATE LINK – it’s your unique specific URL that contains your affiliate id or username. The advertiser uses the affiliate links to record the traffic/sales that you have done.
Let’s do some math:
  • 10 clients x $47/m standard plan = $470 commissions
  • 10 clients x $3 average ad spending = $30 total ad spending
  • $470 commissions – $30 ad spending = $430 profit.
Because ClickMagic pays 100% commissions upfront, for the first month means you complete commissions paid to you which is $470. Then, for every month you get paid 35% on commissions per user with standard plan (you have 10 users) which is $164.5
And this is just one website you have promoted with 10 users. Now imagine you promote 10 other accounts with similar payout with 20 users each. You monthly recurring revenue exceeds $2000. And best of it you can keep promoting all the time as long as there is good return on ad spending, you just watch the campaign how it’s doing every 2 or 3 days.

How Do You Get Paid When You Make Commissions

This is question I get often from people. Most of the affiliate programs when you sign up they pay you using PayPal. You simply sign up for a PayPal account which takes 2 or 3 minutes, and link your bank account with it.
Once a month or depending how membership sites pay the affiliates, they will send you the money to PayPal. Once you receive, you can withdraw them to your bank account.
There are also different forms of payment using Payoneer, checks, wire transfer. But most of the membership sites prefer using PayPal.

How To Promote Recurring Products Using PPC Marketing

There are lots of ways to promote recurring affiliate products, but in our case scenario we are going to use PPC marketing.
PPC – stands for pay-per-click or cost-per-click. Is an internet advertising model using search engline like Google, Yahoo, Bing, to generate clicks from ads to your website.
Let’s say a potential client wants to use ClickMagic. They open yahoo.com and enter the keyword “clickmagic” on it and press Enter. Ads usually show up first as shown in the fig below:
If the potential click the ad, then they are delivered to the official website of ClickMagic where they might subscribe to any plan.
In this scenario we have three roles:
  • The publisher – owner of the network (yahoo, google)
  • The advertiser – is the affiliate guy who created the ad to advertise ClickMagic, and for every click pays the advertiser
  • The potential client – who clicks the ad and potentially buys a subscription plan where the advertiser receives commission for it.

What Tools You Need To Create A PPC Campaign

In this scenario we are going to need only the Bing Ads Platform to promote the recurring products. Compared with Google Ads it has much more lower rate of PPC. Shortly I’ll explain how to create a bing ad and bid for it.
To promote recurring products, you don’t need to build a landing page, since you’ll be sending traffic straight to their sales page. In the future if you want to create your landing pages, you can do such. Now let’s see the

There are two task I urge you to do:
  • Firstly, set your first financial goal on terms of RPM you’ve learned and write it down. The goal should be strong enough, that if you would quit today from the job, do you have enough passive income streams to help you pay the expenses and the lifestyle you enjoy. Your RPM should be written similar to the following:

R (RESULT/GOAL) – By the first day of March, 19.., I will have in my possession $3,000, which will come to me as passive income stream from the affiliate recurring products.

P (PURPOSE) – Because I want to be able to travel more and have time to learn new language. The money of $3,000/m helps me rich those desires. (write your specific desires)

MAP (MASSIVE ACTION PLAN) – The way I’m goign to rich the goal is through PPC Marketing with Bing Ads promoting recurring affiliate products. (write your plan how you’re going to achieve your goal)
